Chembra Peak

Chembra Peak located 2,100 metres above sea level is the tallest peak in Wayanad, Kerala. There is a heart shaped lake on the way to the top of the peak, which is believed to have never dried up. The lush green slopes of the Chembra hill are rich in flora and fauna and blessed with unprecedented natural beauty. The peak is a popular trekking destination of choice in Wayanad among amateurs as it is considerably well known and safe. The district forest office keeps a close watch with their guides. They also offer trekking equipment on rent for tourists.

Manikkunnu Hills

Manikkunnu Hills is a mountain range in Wayanad with picturesque views, sprawling spice plantations and luxuriant forest. An ancient Lord Mahavishnu idol can be found here where Pooja is performed once a year. Hundreds of people converge at the peak to witness the Pooja. Manikkunnu Hills is also a good spot for trekking and the uphill climb involves many adventurous stretches.

Banasura Hills

Banasura Hill is the second tallest mountain in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. The hill is named after Banasura, a mythical character of Indian legends. Exotic flora and fauna, waterfalls, rippling streams, panoramic views make Banasura Hill a most popular destination for many tourists.
